422 Blade Change?

Anybody swap out a blade on a 422? I found one at a garage sale today for $3 with about 1/2" of the blade broke off and was wondering if it was worth dropping off at Buck for a blade change. I've never had them change out a blade on a Bucklite model, just 110, 112, and 560's.

Yes, its worth it! Plus, you only have 3$ in it ??? Spend a little more and have a good knife. What was the year of the broke blade? DM

Colt, you got a 50/50 chance that the handles or a handle could Break... ... That's what Leroy told me... But it's worth the chance if you like your 422 and want a good lite user... ITE ... :thumbup:

Leroy Remer has three of my vintage 422s on the ready line for blade spa treatment. Not blade swap but refresh: Remove scratches and sharpen and his tender loving tune-up. I'll post pics when they find their way home.
