I stumbled onto this while perusing the web for a St. Martin knife. I was not able to find the knife I wanted, but I found this interesting and thought that I would share it would you guys. http://www.worldknives.com/product.asp?produid=1087&manuid=25 It is a single bladed sheepsfoot knife made by Trevor Ablett. I have no connection with this knifemaker whatsoever, but I thought it was remarkable that a person could still find a custom knife for such a low price.

Now that's a pretty knife, and a dang good price too! I may have to try to set aside a few extra bucks here soon :D

Beginner knifemakers need to sell their knives cheap sometimes. They're often an excellent value and are only sold cheap to make a "name" for themselves.

That's a good looking knife! I really like the blade shape and the handle looks comfortable. I bet it would make a great user.

Someone here should buy it and give us a review! :)

That may be true, fulloflead, but Trevor Ablet has been making knives in the traditional way for many years. He is a recognized expert in that field!
