80mm Manix horizontal blade play?

I have a Manix and a mini-Manix, the Manix doesn't have any horizontal blade play, and only a tiny bit of vertical - which I would expect with a lockback. The mini however, has both. I tried adjusting both pivot screws, but can't get rid of the horizontal blade play, short of tightening it up so tight that either the blade won't open or the lock release bar won't operate smoothly.
Just wondering if this is common? I wouldn't think so, but would appreciate hearing from others.
Would you recommend sending it in ? I'm not sure what to do, thanks.

Horizontal blade play is not common. The best thing you could do is send it in and let us have a look at it. The only way for us to rectify the issue is to physically see the knife. When you send it in, just be sure to note what you've found and include all your contact info.

vinny: I have a Mini Manix, there isn't any horizontal blade play. (Vertical soon, but minimal.) One of the best knife I ever had. ;)
