It was 90 a few minutes ago, but I just gave in and bought my first folder....scratch that...first two folders in about a year. It was hard to pay for something that homely in appearance, but...I've been half a$$ed keepin' an eye out for a new beater and perhaps something a bit quicker to access than my current knives, and this seemed like it would fit both bills rather nicely.
What are ya'lls impressions so far? Here's what I'm thinkin' so far based on the picture and past Endura experience:
Gawd that things ugly! really ugly! ow well, purty is as purty does I reckon.
The same wave that makes it so ugly also looks incredibly large and reliable. Looks pretty hard to miss an opening with it. I'm sure I'll also be doing my share to keep Carrhart selling plenty of jeans.
Since it's a Spyderco, I know for a fact it'll cut like crazy and have hellaciously good edge geometry. (a common trait of all Spydies I've ever seen or owned)
It looks hollow ground? is that a deviation from the current Enduras?
Other than that it looks lightweight, reliable, and handy. I really look forward to getting mine and putting it through it's paces. What have y'alls experiences been using it so far?
