I was wondering how much it would cost to have a 0.125" thick titanium frame-lock made for the Buck/Strider 882 SBTG. If you could make the lock side, leaving a bit extra on the lock bar, then I could fit it to the blade here, avoiding the hassles of shipping blades across the border. If you could drill the clip holes to match the original clip, that would be cool.
Thanks.

Well, if you want the first try of the go round with the one I just did I'll ship you that slab for a nominal fee plus shipping. The lock is for sure long on it. It needs final finishing though, but the detent is drilled, and although its rough and taken to the point of looking like its a Buck Strider lock side its far from done but the lock is milled out and it should work in a pinch. Well, you will have to make adjustments but I think it can go on and be made to work but I don't know your skill level. I'm not sure I can make up a folder lock side without the blade that I want my name on but you are welcome to this first try to see if you can make it work on the one you have if you want it.

The reason I did not use it was due to finally just adjusting the contact angle of the blade on the one here so it changed the contact and made the lock too short but for one from the factory its long.

Sounds great! Just let me know what the total will be with shipping, and I'll PayPal you the money(or money order if you prefer).

No actually I prefer pay pal.

Where are you? Shipping depends on where I'm having to mail it.

Send me an email at that address and we'll go from there.
