9 inch Busse knife

Gentlemen

I am new to the busse knives and do not know all the different models.
I am looking for a 9" knife or bigger with a satin finish.
Knife must be flat ground.
Does Busse make such a model?:confused:

Or maybe a Basic 9. Welcome aboard. Let us know if you have any more questions.
If you buy a Busse you will absolutely love it.

I am looking for some thuing better thgen my old trusty Cold Steel trailmaster but just a litttle better. I have heard great things about the INFI syeel and pray that it is better then the old production Coarbon V from CS.

I am into 9 inch + knives and like a shiny finish not a coated. The handle from busse sure looks great and like it would give a great grip even in weet conditions.

On the Busse site it looks like there are only two knives to order???:confused:

Would some one sell or trade me a knife or should I look at ebay??

Post in the knives wanted to buy forum, and see what offers come your way.
Ebay is an option, as well.
There are Busse AK-47 Short swords available at the Busse Company Store for immediate delivery, although they all have coated blades.
The Fusion Battle mistress is coming up sometime in the near future for ordering from Busse Combat, and I'm thinking there will be a Satin finished Limited edition version as well.
They have a new production protocol at Busse, and that is why there are only a couple choices to order at a time.

Another option is to buy a coated blade and refinish it yourself.

Check out the "Exchange" section, great deals pop up there all the time. You can get lucky on Ebay as well, but prices can get pretty high quickly. When you say "nine inch knife" are you talking blade length, or overall length? There is a NO-E for sale right now at a good price. I have the same knife and love it.
As far as buying a Busse, the hunt is half the fun. Good luck!

I for one, am eagerly awaiting the FBM. . .
I might have to sell a few knives to afford it, but it will be mine!:thumbup:

I like that knife Rat WOW. I would do a satin finish on that baby.
That handle is the magnum handle right? I love that handle - way cool.
I am talking about a 9 inch blade:thumbup: Samll knives are just small knives:grumpy:

A big knfe can do a small knifs job. But a samll knife can't do a big knifs job:grumpy: :D

1) No need to pray that INFI is better, it is better. There is not one person here who will tell you that Carbon V is better. Take a look at Cliff Stamp's testing site for real proof:

2) You might want to consinder buying a coated blade and removing the coating yourself, it will be cheaper, the satin finishes are rarer and more expensive.
3) Jerry will switch the knives every few months. Don't count on the Fusion Battle Mistress being here. It could be here tomorrow, or in one year. It's always hard to tell with Jerry Busse. Anytime you see anyone type in two weeks is making fun of Jerry. He used to tell everyone two weeks for delivery time on a knife, and then take around 6 months!

Seriously, people keep posting threads complaining about the lack of an FBM appearance. Let's try to avoid a stampede!

Hey, it is closer than it was two years ago!:p
Unless I am mistaken, Jerry said it was coming up after the "curvy" knife.

I think there will be a major stampede.

Maybe so, but I figure they will be here before this time next year, so I will celebrate and pool my money! Donations welcome;)
 
Maybe I should put the pic of the FBM in my sig line with a message saying: "Come ask about the FBM at the Busse Forum!";) :D
