Ray got one of the first 500 Vietnam Tomahawks, which had "blonde" handles and a wheeler-brated finish before Mr. LaGana began dipping the whole Hawk in olive drab paint. Opposite the Hawk, on the right hip, you'll find the preferred combat knife of the day, the venerable Ka-Bar...ALSO one of Mr. LaGana's "faves", and now my own, thanks to men like Mr. LaGana, Robert Humelbaugh, Rob Simonich, Brian Jones, and MANY others who have pointed out the merits of that tried and true design.

Ranger Justin likes stuff he can't break, so he just uses a knife made from 3/8th stock, like the Ranger Thrower! :D

The Knife and Tomahawk set is a TREMENDOUS combination in the field, as evidenced by our American Frontiersmen, men like Ray in Vietnam, and of recent by a growing number of our Armed Services Personnel.

Enjoy!

Great pic and history. Do you know what the yellow helicopters are for on the side?

If history serves me correctly, those little yellow "helicopters" on the side represent the "downed" helicopters that CH-46 recovered.

That bird was busy!!!!;)
