I like it!

Thanks.

Yes, out with the plywood.....in with the KOA.

:)

One of our forum artists did his magic. Simple and elegant and shiny, with perfect fit and finish. I can't find a mark or imperfection anywhere on the knife.

It's wood, brass and steel--old fashioned elegance and pure simplicity.

How could I not like it?

:)

Hmmmmm.......I've seen that ploy used too often on this forum.

I think I'll do the testing myself.

:D

Thanks to all.....I'm really glad I chose one with the Buck Custom Stamp to have this done.

Now it's truly a Buck Custom.

:)

It makes me wish I had grabbed one of those blems now ...
I was worried about that FB on the blade.
That is a real classy looking knife now :)

Yeah, the blem comes off. The box still says blem, but it's kind of irrelevant now.

They still show up on the bay now and then, or at least they were a short time ago.

I don't think I'd do it with anything but a Custom stamped one.

That stamp adds a lot.

The koa goes very well with the brass. I'm not real familiar with koa other than I know it has a beautiful grain. Your piece especially though. That looks quartersawn? At any rate very tastefully done and looks great on the oak!

Thanks, I'd been wanting a 113 for a long time, but they were hard to get or too expensive.

When I saw the blem I just couldn't resist......and Ark did such a great job in fixing it.

:)
