1) I would like to welcome Chris Reeve Knives to BladeForums.com, please pardon my tardiness in doing so.

2) I add my "aye" vote to the idea of a Chris Reeve neck knife. I think it would be a perfect complement to the current line. It could be offered in A2 with a Kalgard finish and BG-42 with the stone wash finish. Kydex neck sheath. Perfect. And Chris would be filling a niche, there are not many well made, high quality production neck knives out there. Despite my move into making knives, that would be a knife I would buy.

3) Integral guard knives. Edmund Davidson, Ted McDowell style integrals. Given the technology at Chris's fingertips this is a product that would be reasonably easy to produce and there are no production integrals being made. And it would seem to be a natural outgrowth of his business.

Neck knife? No thank you.

If you want more response to the Integral Guard idea, some more info or a link would be helpful.

What, do you want a cookie, too?

Integral guard--- Imagine a fixedblade knife with guard and bolster, the guard and bolster and blade are one piece. There is the blade, the steel swells into the guard, shrinks down to allow for handle scales, the expands to create a guard on the end. No links that I know of, sorry.

Neck knives, try one if you haven't.

Responses are cool.

Hello,

Neck knife means also little fixed blade a very strong a useful design.
But perharps CRK because or their very very strong folders doesn't need to fill that nich.
I was thinking to make a kydex sheath for my baby Sebenza...

I would really like to see that concept of guard.

Cheers,
