Just finished this up on a clients knife. The donor was a 2 dot flatbolstered 110. Bareheaded, curly koa, lots of filework.

I like that wood...

But what's a "brehead"???

bAreheaded. No rear bolster.
????

Koa rocks. I used to climb Koa trees in Hawai'i as a kid. During one fall (there were many) I fell flat on my back and hit a root. Layed there paralyzed for what seemed like a long time for a 10 year old kid.
Once in awhile I still get that little sharp pain from that fall and it reminds me of how we all thought we were indestructable as a keiki :)

Amazing work as always Muskrat man! I've been building some knives from kits, but haven't yet tried any filework, especially something that complex. Seeing your work always gives me something to aspire to.

That is some awe inspiring filework. It looks soo much better than the filework (stamped filing???) on my 531, 532, & 535. BTW does anyone have any info on case blackhorn folding fillet knife?

That is some nice work. I usually don't go for the file work, but that one turned out very well.
