I`ve got a little challenge for you guys, and it`s a simple one. The only guys I see posting photos of their knives in use are pitdog, Todd A, and Mentor. Does anybody else actually use there JK knives? I`d sure like to think that my knives are users and not just sitting around getting dusty! Let`s see some photos.

HA! It's on now that I have a working computer again.

I'll get right on that! Check back in a few day if the weathers well. The weathers been crappy around here so i've been couped up.

My Neckmuk is used daily for opening and cutting down boxes, but that's not very interesting to see pictures of :P. I don't get the opportunity to hike very often here, but I take it with me when I do, and the next time I go I'll have to do something woodsy with it :P

I have to be honest John I don't actually use mine ! I take a pic outdoors and then superimpose the knife on afterwards....they are all actually minty fresh in a locked display cabinet !:D

Ha....I ,for one, don't believe a word of it.:thumbdn:

You spend FAR too much time outdoors with Maisy and TT to have developed such mad computer skilz for such doctored photos ;).

Soon, Very soon. I am another one who often uses the knives but don't think of it as being of much interest to others and often don't take a camera along. Well spring is upon us and I plan to have a pretty active outdoor year, God willing.

I use mine daily but never have a camera around. I'll try to do better.

Ewok/LDK gets used a lot; I had some oxidation on my LDK that I had to remove the other day. They get used a lot for food prep and miscellaneous things around the house. My larger JK knives such as AK and Scout Jr. hate me cause I rarely use them:( Need to find time to enjoy the outdoors with them. I'm going on a long hike after finals are done and will take pictures

In the mean time here are 2 of my JKs and a tomahawk.

The EDC was used to "take out" a 3Ft Timber Rattler, and dress it out for the meat and skin. It was no small feat to convince my wife to hold it for the picture!
I also cut and butter my bagels in the morning with this blade.

Hi Stomper -

These are reposts of some of my in-use shots.

I don't do much batoning or fire-starting (although am starting to like to carve up fuzz sticks and light them from seeing all of pitdogs posts), instead I use my knives to cut up food or for what-have-you when in the woods.

My wife uses our JK Kephart here cutting up a chicken for our dinner -

Here I have cut up one of my favorite snacks, a fuji apple and some aged asiago cheese.

Here are reposts of my shots I took with my Kephart when my friend and I were out tapping his Maples when the sap was running this spring - a fuzz-stick of sorts.

And then back inside for kitchen duty -

Oh no you didn't.... :)

Let me get some pics. Every time I'm using it I'm hard at work in the yard and don't feel like taking pictures. Trust me though - this thing gets a workout at my house!!!!!

Your wife is a lot braver than me, snakes scare the daylights out of me!

Here are some pics from this weekends backpacking trip onto the Shavers Fork of the Cheat River.

Pardon the poor pics, I forgot my camera and had to make due with the cell phone, but even its battery died after just a few pics. I did manage to get these three.

The JK was the only blade I used for the trip, although I did have my SAK farmer in my pocket the whole time. The knife preformed great and was still razor sharp after the weekend.

This is my bro in law kicking back after we set up camp.

They scare the daylights out of her too, I'm still not sure how I convinced her to hold it. Even though it was headless it was twisting and coiling quite a bit. Must of had something to do with our 18th anniversary!:D

Here was one of Saturday's projects...thinning out banana tree. To cut this one down it required a ladder, a long reach, and a balancing act. Needed something big enough to chop but light enough to be manageable in an awkward position. In comes the JK Bowie. Very well balanced knife, and the curved coffin handle is very secure.

Once on the ground it sliced the leaves up into manageable pieces.

As for the trunk, I took the mini-mauler that Bruce made and cut right through it like it was made of...well...banana. Didn't even nick a finger. I know, not a JK, but they made a nice team.

lol WJCO1, your wife looks a bit uncomfortable holding that critter...cant blame her, I would be too.

I would post more pics of my JKs in use, but the only digicam I have is a freaking video camera/digicam hybrid. SOB weighs at least 2 lbs. Some day Ill use knife/gun money on a camera :p

Mine's rideing in the truck door. I do a lot of fishing and honestly a Mora Clipper with it thin pointy blade and clip on sheath is designed better for me. No knock on the knife, I just really like the Scandis. So no photos lately.
