Here are a couple of hunters that are nearly ready to ship out to the customers. The first is a 4 inch hunter with a blade of CPM S30V and handle of polished stag with hippo ivory spacer. The guard and butt cap are of nickel silver.

The next one is our rattlesnake knife. It has a 4 inch blade of CPM 3V stag handle, African Blackwood and ivory spacers and nickel silver guard. The back of the blade is file worked in a rattlesnake pattern and the sheath is covered in rattlesnake skin.

i love the rattlesnake one....the filework and sheath add alot...very cool....ryan:thumbup:

that little snaky thing is really cool! Very imaginative.

Both are beautiful blades. Aesthetically, I prefer the first, but from an imagination and theme integration standpoint, the second one is outstanding.

That Rattlesnake Hunter is very nice! The Dark Stag, the Inlay and esp the creative Rattlesnake Filework all go together so well.

Very well thought out and wonderfully executed on all accounts!

Couple of nice packages there Harry, customer should be pleased.....

Thanks for the comments guys. Charlie and I have been very surprised at the response to the polished stag handle. It was a customer request that we decided to post to see how it faired since it was more commonly seen in the 70's. As always, Charlie and I appreciate the honest answers and hope to be able to spend some more time on the "Best Thing". But first, we have to get our waiting list down to a level we are comfortable with. Until then, it is going to be full tilt at the order board and what ever comes next is what gets made.:D

Very nice.
Ever thought about doing the handle on that blade in some snake skin?
Jesus Hernandez did it on a japanese styled one and looked great.

I'm going to have to think about that one for a while. I'm not sure how durable it would be, but it would sure look interesting.
