So my jk has been getting used pretty hard lately. I took the bevels back a bit and thinned them out, it whittles hairs now. For what i do with it, sharpness is more important than a strong edge. BUT the edge is strong, i chopped hard knots off of a seasoned thick branch with no problem to the edge, it still shaved afterwards. Here's two new pics. Just decided to take them, more to come when my battery gets charged up haha. On the last pic it told me i needed to charge it. DSLR's last a while but when you dont charge often they do that to ya! I need to get pics of use, but i usually go out alone so thats pretty hard. Great knives john, keep doing what you do, my spare money will go to you, when i get some of that.
Sorry theyre crappy, i'm tired & didnt feel like fiddling with the lighting. You get the idea
I took some 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper to the blade & handle. Smoothed the handle out a bunch, made it nice, and suprisingly its grippier. Polished up the blade enough where it's smooth and shiny, but not shiny enough for me to fret over. Car wax over the entire knife.
