Well, it seems some explanation is in order. First of all let me say that the design was based on an LCC. It is NOT however a copy. The knife is roughly 10% smaller than a MT LCC. It has differently shaped bolsters in addition to having the the bolster/handle angle reversed. The blade is not only ground differently but it is shaped differently having a straight clip instead of the double clip on the LCC. For the record, I give full credit to Greg Lightfoot and Microtech for the inspiration for this design. I am sorry if there was any confusion.

Hi Reese,

Nothing wrong with getting inspiration from other knives and modifiying it. However, when someone calls the inspiration into question you should address it.

You have now addressed this and given credit where credit is due.

They are beautiful knives.

Reese:

Thank you for taking the time to register on this forum and address this issue in your very first post.

Now, I suggest we all turn to Golok's topic regarding why so many custom makers do not post on BFC.

things are getting a little shrill around here.

to berate a maker about "not giving proper credit" when a third party posts pictures featuring said makers work is a little unreasonable
