Hi folks,

Has anyone seen or handled this one? It looks wonderful. The engraved bolsters seem really nice but I'd like to see a more detailed photo than the one A.G. has on his site. Plus, it's a wharnie, so I'm automatically in love. Does anyone know anything about this knife? Any information is appreciated.

While I cannot speak to that knife in particular I can say I own the first Texas Ranger knife that was made in China and every thing about it screams quality. Fit and finish is top notch, the steel used for the blade is fantastic, it walks and talks just about the way I would want...no tighter, no looser. And as AG states if you don't like it he will even refund shipping both ways...don't see a downside to ordering one.

It does seem like a very nice knife, I'd loose the thumbstuds (it's the only thing that would keep me from getting one).

"Made in China" doesn't mean what it used to, look at all the Spyderco products made there or in Taiwan. They are top notch. It took me a while to come around, but now I really think that the country of origin is meaningless (from a quality point of view) as long as there's a good company running a solid QC, the product will be good.

I won't own any knives made in China and think that although some examples such as you mentioned have improved they are still lacking,IMHO.
