Have any of you been cut, stabbed AND shot?
If so, change your habits.
heh heh

No, serious question. I am curious as to which ...hurts...the worst.

I imagine all of us have been cut and that hurts PLENTY. (Stinging, hurty owwie) and would sure take the fight out of any reasonable person.

But I don't know anyone who has experienced ALL THREE.

Guess I could go to the jail and ask, but don't feel like that depth of research.

Ah, hell yeah man, it's a weekly occurrence. But thanks to my well tuned abs, rock hard chest and super hero cape even the stoutest .357 loads are only a minor tickle. a full load 7.62 makes me angry after a few shots though...

Have never been stabbed more than an inch or two, due to the rock hard super hero muscles. Silly bad guys, trying to stab me with a meager Strider, or a Busse..HAHA!! I laugh victoriously in thier faces!

Slashes, are annoying, kinda like sand in the ole superhero jockey shorts, but they heal within minutes thanks to my Marvel Comic Daily chewable vitamins. I used to dislike the unsightly scars, but then I figured out that chicks dig 'em....:D

Uhmm...gee whiz...I do hope that wasn't a serious question....

well, I've cut and stabbed myself through use... and I've been shot by a pellet gun(.177 cal, not 00 buck) and numerous paintballs.

though the cut is annoying(blood, pain when you use the body part, itchy while healing)... stabs take longer to heal naturally as they hit muscle. I have jabbed my wrist a few times, fingers more tha enough, and stabbed myself in the left thigh in febuary while forcing down on a 4 wall tomatoe box and slipped. 1/2" of tip in, and down to muscle. hurt like hell to walk after, itched like crazy for a couple months, and surprised the hell out of me when I did it(missed everything too).

the 177 pellet was about 30-40feet away with a 600fps. caught my hand so I moved a bit with it, but stung like a bitch and broke skin(hit bone). didn't feel it the next day other than like a bruise. The paintball from under 20feet on a few canister(right dead on to ribs, wearing a t-shirt and bdu jacket) hurt more.

Cut, stabbed, and shot?
I know several inmates who've experienced all three.

In a nutshell, each person's body is different, so results vary. In addition, mental state, such as high adrenaline, is also a factor.

Many times, these wounds aren't even felt until a while after they happen. I was involved in a stabbing in which the inmate was stabbed four times in the back, the knife having penetrated both shoulder blades, both lungs, grazing the heart. He survived, but didn't realize he was stabbed for a minute or two, until his lungs began filling with blood.

As for gunshots, I've heard some guys say they didn't know they were shot, and others stated it "hurt like hell". One guy I know was shot in the left shoulder blade with a .357 Magnum, and the round finally stopped behind his left cheekbone, having traveled up his neck to get there! Not much pain, he didn't even go down. Has the scars to prove it.

Another inmate was hit in the shoulder and thigh by 9mm, and he went down like a ton of bricks. His arm and leg went numb, and he couldn't control his limbs.

Traumatic wounds cause wierd reactions.

Cut myself in the hand pretty deep back in 93. The three shoots in the palm to numb it for 7 stitches hurt worse than the cut.

As a gun and bow hunter and seeing the results of both many times, I would have to say I rather be stabbed (cut) than shot if I was going to live. Being cut also cuts nerves and if it is cut more than rip, shouldn't hurt as much. A bullet is like a small hammer that pierces. Between the ripping and shock, ouch!!!

I had my shin sliced after I fought off a gang of 3 (well when I fought 3 of them off and ran). Still have the jeans... wasn't too deep so the scar is unnoticeable. I think the knife was dull as a butter knife, so it was only the tip that caught me. I've been shot with a pellet gun as a joke by a buddy (now that I think of it, it wouldn't have been too funny if it hit higher or lower) from about 50-ft away in the back the pellet was about 400fps the jacket took the shot... didn't even hurt. Oh and too many paint-balls to count :D

I have a friend who has been shot, stabbed, burned in a chemical fire, fell from a helicopter, and wrecked a motorcycle. He has told me many times that he would rather take all of them again before being burned just once. Basically, as I see it, burning is the worst, and he is no pansy, by any means.

My father was shot in Veitnam and he said it's not realy a pain more than it is a burning sensation. A severe burning!:)
