I want to keep one of these two. Its not an easy choice...

The Hunter is guardless. Its wearing stabalized Walnut crotchwood. The Bushie is wearing Shadetree Phenolics burlap micarta. The blade finish on both is the Cohea etch, which IMO, is fantastic!!!

Problem is... I can't decide which to keep....

It'd be really hard to turn down that walnut, IMO, but the burlap is pretty stunning as well. I'm glad you have to struggle with this and not me.

Bushie all the way. The hunter is nice too, but the bushie fits my tastes better. I wish I was in your position.

Good luck!

Nice...really like this rendition of this design.

Good finish on the blade too...already looks 'lived in'

Hey I got an idea. you keep the bushie and sell me that awesome Hunter
Sound Good?

I would keep the walnut but you're the knife maker so you know best which one is irreplaceable.

Andy I really love that bushcrafter!

I really like the crosshatch effect of the burlap micarta handle. Is there any way for someone here (unless it's already been done) to post a comparison photo showing the Andy's bushcraft and ladyfinger against a BRKT aurora and a RAT RC4 for size & dimensional contrast?

I know how a RC4 feels in the hand, but none of the others.

Thanks so much for any thoughts, concerns or smartalek comments!

Kurt

I agree. I have a bunch left too.

Maybe. I know you can patina a blade with mustard, but this etch was nasty. The blade came out looking about an inch thick with goop. Really gross, and probably damaging to a handle.
