I know the Sifu is a LARGE knife, but I was wanting to know if the knife will fit cliped into your back jeans pocket?

Yes it will, BUT sitting will not be great.

I keep mine in my front right pocket in jeans and inside the waistband, with clip under belt in dockers or dressier pants. Those seem the best options that I have found so far. Have fun........

Carries better in my right front jeans pocket.

Due to the length of folded SIFU, it has a tendency of flexing somewhat when folded and under some pressure. If you wear it in your back pocket, be careful that sitting does not flex or tweek the handle. If it does flex and cause the blade to rub the liner, it is not a big fix, but a pain nevertheless. I find the front pocket to be better with the SIFU.

I prefer the ruler pocket on the leg of my jeans. It’s a bit of a stretch but the pocket was meant to be handy and out of the way at the same time.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I am seriously considering getting one of the Sifus without the fingergrooves, do any of you have experience with this one? I think it makes for nicer lines IMHO.

I generally don't like finger grooves but they are well done on the Sifu. The grooves probably give a better retention in most grips. They also allow you to slide your hand further back for a bit more reach if desired. Cosmetically I like the new single finger grooved model, way sexy lookin' to me. Depending on the carry it "prints" a bit less also.

Clyde

I have one of each. The multi grooved one is a little more possitive in the hold dept.
The single finger groove one does look much better to me, and feels a little less restrictive in the hold dept.
Best to pick the one you want or like the most. Either way you can't go wrong. I love both of mine.

I usually wear dress slacks that have deeper pockets than my jeans. The Sifu fits satisfactorily in the right rear pockets of the slacks. I can't say if it fits the rear pockets of jeans--I only wear jeans about once a month when I do yard work. I haven't done yard work since I got my SE Sifu. (Oops, now that I think about it, I haven't done anything since I got my SE Sifu--too busy playing with it). I hope this helps.
