a question regarding ZT 550/551.

i know ZT 550 can be found easily for around $200. i also know 551 was limited and no longer available. if i buy it second hand in NIB condition. what's the going price now days?

He just said he wanted to know the going price. That's easy to see what people are /have (if they left the price up) listed them for. He never said buy or sell.
 
one of these days, everyone will figure this out.

1. go to ebay
2. enter the item in question
3. check the box for "Completed Listings" under the "Show Only" tab on the left
4. look at the prices in green

no need to post asking for this info, or hunt through the FS section as most people remove their prices when the sale is complete (although i still don't understand why).

That is solid and advice and may help but I've also noticed that many times eBay prices are inflated over what stuff goes for here on the exchange or sometimes even regular Internet retailers.

That is exactly why I think you should only look at the prices listed in green. Items that do not sell are listed in red and include most of the ones with ridiculous markup. Take a rough mental average of the items that actually sold and you will have a good idea of the current street value of almost anything. :thumbup:

i have done that before posting on the forum. also checked the price here in the forum. the difference on what was sold and what's on ebay were just too great hence my question on current going price. one of the member did give me some ballpark figure. so this has been answered,

however, since you were kind enough suggest ebay, here is my collection of orange stuff. i know it's not as good as what you have :) enjoy.

love it! i have the same fire starter, and an orange spyderco in the mail right now (shhh, don't tell the Kershaw guys!). ;)
