Button Lock by Howard Hill and engraved by Harry Limings. Is there enough color for ya? Wow !!

Stunning. Abalone always has such great color. Once again the engraving is outstanding. Another excellent piece.

Thanks KWM. Both knives or about 4" closed and had such a nice amount of canvas that just yelled to be engraved. They both look good in your hand. Blades are 440C and the handles are 416. I don't usually see abalone clearly in photos, but this one seemed to come out ok.

Nice design, and beautiful workmanship. I have barely heard of Mr. Hill, except for some offerings on eBay. I was VERY impressed, regardless. This is why. Good showing!

Now--a little on your pic: It appears you blew it up over 100% to post it. Although it is detailed, it isn't 'crisp'. You would stun me even more if I could see the whole knife in one pass. I always limit my width of pics to no wider than 700 pixels. Most are 640. Past that and you need to horizontally scroll, and that's a pain!

I only offer you this because you OBVIOUSLY have some fine knives that need their best foot forward, so to speak!:D I'd love it if you sent me the original untouched file. Any chance?

Thanks!!!

Blade 747. I appreciate all the tips that I can get!! So far, I have been doing things by trial and error. I can get close, but always seem to be one step away from a good shot. Once again, I do thank you. I am all ears. I will send ya the file if I still have it.

Try it again. I just wanted to mention that the tang and backspacer are jeweled. The backspacer, on the inside also.

And a closeup. You should be able to see the HL which is Harry Limings initials.

Very nice.., and some nice pictures.., thanks for sharing...
