This isn't the greatest video on the net but shows the Bushfinger pretty well. The lighting wasn't the greatest. I'll do up another one later on.

Video lighting wasn't that bad at all. That bushfinger made some great shavings and it looks like it goes through small logs like butter.

Thanks man, I'm just a lot more used to still shots. Re-shooting a still shot I'm not really thrilled with takes another couple of seconds....where as re-shooting another video takes longer. I do learn something new every time so hopefully they will get better.

As for the Bushfinger the video really doesn't do it justice. It is an absolutely awesome knife. I'm really looking forward to my next Fiddleback that's for sure. The first two have been simply fantastic.

Mist,

Thanks for posting the video. Pics are great and your's are excellent. Videos of the knife in hand being used, however, really give perspective. You've once again sold me another knife. First it was the machete, now the BF.

BTW, how do you like your RMJ Shrike?

Thanks Ryan, glad you enjoyed the video. Both are truly awsome blades they are my go-to bushcraft team.

I love my Shrike but have another hawk coming in the future that I like better for the woods.

Why are you wearing s ladies watch?

Huh? It's a Timex Atlantis...as far as I know it's not a ladies watch...

Yep, one of a very small group of knives I never intend to part with. Great job on this thing bro, words just can't say how much I do like it.

I couldn't help it. Moose

Man, it's been years since my job involved a suit and tie, and my personal life never has lol.

I enjoyed the video. I'm looking forward to my BF...if Andy ever gets to it!! And I want a machete now too. Damn.

Thanks Rocky, glad you liked the post. The BF is an awesome little knife. Don't worry he'll get to it I'm sure. He has several profiled and heat treated now and more to come.

Yeah, I'm really diggin' the machete. It has an amazing amount of capability in such a light weight package.

G'day Brian

Yes, video does take more effort, but it really does give the viewer a much more accurate representation of what the tool is capable of (eg, note the comments about being able to see the penetration of the machete in that particular video  ).

For what it's worth (which is exactly what you have paid for it :D ), I much rather videos that let the tool do the talking.

I guess I'm old enough & ugly enough to be able to make up my mind based on what I've seen, rather than what I've heard ;)

Kind regards
Mick :D

Hi Mick,

My biggest issue is "public speaking", and even more so with a little plastic box. I'd much rather let the tool do all the talking too :) ...but every time I do just that and don't say much of anything people always say "you should talk more" :( .

I can't say I have ever had that sort of feedback.

But then again, more people probably watch your videos than they do mine lol :D

Kind regards
Mick
