Today I carried my two Labs to the Vet for vaccinations, and I noticed the Doc had a Spyderco clipped in his pocket. I commented on it, and pointed to my Police that I was carrying. He handed me his Spyderco, that looked like a SS Delica with one side having a heavy silver and gold plate with floral type engraving on it. This knife was heavy, but I really liked it, and he mentioned that he bought it at the local western store. I stopped by, but they didn't have a Spyderco in the store. Does Montana Silversmith or Crumrine have anything to do with these? HELP!

Thanks,

I was in Springfield Missouri a few weeks ago. They have a big western store just off Hwy 65 on the south end of town. They had 2 or 3 Spyderco's like what you are talking about on display in their hat section. Don't remember the name of the store (sorry). You might contact "The Magician" here on bladeforums, he is from Springfield and may know the name of the store.

Thanks for the info, I will check it out. I don't know why I want the heavy knife, but it fits my decor. ;)

Crumrine made the silver on this knife. I was a Crumrine rep when they introduced this knife.
