I had the opportunity to travel to southern California Tuesday to meet up with Kevin Fritz (imafritz), his wife Lori and their daughter Kaylee. They were here all the way from Pennsylvania for a Moose Convention. I drove down there Tuesday and stayed at the same Hotel, so we could have a nice dinner together and visit. I have to say that it was a very enjoyable experience and was well worth the trip.

Kevin, Lori and Kaylee are some of the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet and we had a great visit. We had dinner together Tuesday evening, and then breakfast Wednesday morning. Don't let the sour look on my face in the pictures decieve you. Iwas having a great time.

I took a105 made the same year that Kaylee was born (1998) for her to add to her growing collection. She's a Junior member of BCCI and has her own collection of Bucks. The 105 is her first fixed blade though and will hopefully be used this year when she goes on her first hunt with Kev.

They surprised me with a great, like new 442! Kev had somehow figured out that I didn't have one of them and to make it even more special, it's also from 1998! Thanks a million, I had a spectacular time!

Kev and I Wednesday morning after breakfast. The sad look on my face is because the visit was at an end.

Thats great,i must say that the young lady has definately made a good choice in knives.,LOL.I'm sure she likes all the new phones and gadgets like all the rest of the kids nowadays, but it sure is great she has an interest in the outdoors and knives as well.Someday i hope to see the after pics of the hunting trip!

Well Dave it was our pleasure. It was great hanging out with you and hope to do so again some day. Gotta get over here to the East Coast and We'll treat you to a 1st class helping of humidity:p Glad you liked the knife. Not easy to find a knife to give to a guy who has every Buck known to man:)

Razor,
She does have good taste in knives, I'll take a pick of her whole herd once the 105 gets here. Dave is sending it by mail rather than take the chance of it ending up in some airline handlers or NTSA collection. With any luck, come December we will have some action shots of it in use on a big ole Pennsylvania whitetail.

Hope to meet up with some more Buckaroos in the future.

Thats great, does this young lady happen to have a 440 c 110 in her collection? She just needs to have a classic ya know!

I'm not sure. The only one that I know for sure about is a 1998 FG 110. I'm sure her Dad can tell you when he visits the thread again.

This is great you folks got together and had such a good time. From all the way across the country that was a real deal of its own. So, glad to see this happening. DM

So good to see 2 of my Pals spending some time together.Kaylee looks like she had a ball,I bet she met Mickey Mouse.:)

Sounds like a great time, thanks for sharing! Dont forget the action photos of the hunt.

No, no 440c 110's yet. but that can be arranged. I am scoping 2 dots all the time so she will have one eventually. Uncle Dave, as she calls him, has been a big benefactor.

Here is the pic of her herd that I promised.
