WOW just WOW! ? Do you prefer the 550 or the 560 over the 350 for EDC? I carry a 350 now but am concerned about the torsion bar and when will it will break, especially if I am out of town. I am considering a 550 but don't want to put a huge knife in my pocket for EDC.

That is a nice collection.

Thanks

i don't notice any difference between carrying the 0550 and 0350, they are almost identical in weight/size. i have removed the torsion bars from both of my 0350s and much prefer them as manual openers. it's also nice to have one less thing to worry about breaking. i rotate through my 0350, 0550, and 0560 pretty evenly. 0550 is probably my all around favorite by a slight margin, but all 3 are amazing knives.:thumbup:

If it breaks, then you'll have a regular manual folder. No biggie.

Thanks , that is what I was looking for. How easy do you compare the opening using the stud on the 550 instead of the flip on the 350? I have never liked thumb studs but I just dont want a point of failure as is the torsion bar for assisted knives.

thanks

Very nice. I've got 17 Kershaws in seven months. I asked a few guys about getting an assisted knife and played with a buddies Blur. That was where I started. Looks like you did the same.

Just a wild guess , i bet you like orange.

it's alright i guess.

my 0550 was super stiff when i got it, but now it is the easiest opening ZT i have. even smoother and easier than my 0560.

blur was my first as well. it is a great ambassador for the kershaw line.

The Blur is an enabler for people like us. Blur got me going as well, specifically the ZDP-189 and S60V Blur, I wanted them... I got them but I havent stopped.

It's nice to see a MC Boa! I'm going to have to find one of those someday.
