9v batteries are usually 6 AAAA wired together but without normal terminals and wrapping so they are a little short for use in a AAAA device....one brand simply wires their regular AAAA together and they are usable....anyone know which one????

AAAA are very expensive on their own....

Price depends on where you buy them. I'm assuming you want them for a Streamlight Stylus since it's one of the very few things that uses that AAAA's at least in the "gadget" forum. SL's SRP for a 6-pack is $6.95, so you should be able to find them in the $4.50-5.00 range without too much trouble. If you only look at RatShack, yes, they are pricey.

I can't help you on what brand has ready-to-go AAAA's inside their 9V's but one thing to keep in mind is that not all of the internal batteries are perfectly round. I know of a couple of customers who tried this route and jammed one of the batteries that was out of round deep inside the Stylus. Check them before you use them.
