Does anyone here own an Adjustable Neck Harness system? I have one currently on order but I am considering changing it to a Static Cord system. I am wondering how large a knife would feel comfortable in the neck harness, and exactly how concealable the knife would be. I saw a picture in the book Street Steel of a Bladerigger knife that was curved so it would be show less when worn under a shirt. Has anyone done this to their JSP knives?

Also, how comfortable is the Upper Chest Strap? I read that it can be used with other neck knives...has anyone tried it?

Thanks!!

Mr. G.

If you're considering a larger knife, you may want to think about an associate or execulite for blades 8-12 inches in OAL, or an SB3 system for blades 12-19 inches OAL. I own a dual execulite for a pair of knives with 12" OAL and an SB3 for my knives 15, 16, and 17 inches in OAL. I can conceal them easily under a baggy unbottoned overshirt.

Hey Zog!

I was thinking about the Execulite, but I feel like I would be acting like a James Bond wannabe. I don't work in security, or in law enforcement, or for some secret government agency...I'm just a plain old guy trying to make a living. It would be hard to explain to the local police too; "But officer, I was using the knife to peel my apple!!"

Maybe I'm too uptight. I just got off of work; I think I need a beer.

Thanks Zog!!

MrG,

I have carried a JSP Custom Kwaiken (5 inch blade)in my upper chest strap, it conceals very well and is comfortable. The Chest Strap has some elastic in it to fit the particular knife you are carrying snugly and to fit you snugly, it also allows you to breathe freely without feeling "strangled" by a strap that is buckled around your chest.
