advice on grinder

I'm looking at buying a $60 grinder/sander from tool king. It has a 4 " wide 36 in long belt sander / platnum plus a 6 " disc sander on the side.
Will this work for doing handles and grinding blades ?

Yes. It will work, I have one that I use for some metal/wood stuff, BUT!! It's not going to be fun at all!
The motor on my el cheapo belt grinder is way too small (200W), and the reason they sell so cheap... lack of quality.
Buy/build a real grinder instead, it'll save you alot of time!
