Now this is something else. I don't know who built the knife but Ron Smith did the engraving. Man what a knife. Just had to post the pic.

Even though I'm not really into that type of knife, the artistry is amazing! That thing belongs in a museum.

I'm definatley not into that type of knife, but that engraving job looks very well done.

I'm going out on a limb and saying the maker is 'AL SCOTT'. Whom I've never heard of. Howcum??
Here's a few pics stolen off the www.artknife.com website. Here's the description of this dagger:

"Al Scott created this unbelievable art knife titled "Emperor Napoleon and the Grand Army". The blade has battle scenes engraved on it and the ivory handle is carved with Napoleon on one side and Josephine on the other. A gold banner weaves through the ivory handle which is surrounded by gold and rubies. Value $15,000."

Looks like the same style to me! Who knows more about this man??

Looks like the same mans work,to be PC guess it could be a woman knifemaker. Don't want to get the ladies mad at me. I found the pic on a gun engravers site. Sure makes you wonder what a tac. folder from him would look like.

   WOW that has to be one of the most beautiful folders i have ever seen. Whats the cost on that sexy knife?

Yes.., a little too much "glitz" for me.., but boy what a display of artistry!! Hard to stop looking at that piece.., and yes.., it should be at least in an Art Gallery if not a museum....
