I like my Matriarch, my C fiber Civilian, my zytel Merlin, my enlaid fileworked Harpy, but I realy like the feel of the Al body on the old Civilian a lot and wonder what others think.

And, now that they're not produced anymore, what's an Al Civilian worth (if you can find one)?

hso,

The Aluminum/Tuffram coated Civilian with Kraton inserts is my favorite variation. I have seen the serrated version selling lately for up to around $175 and the plain edge model going up to $300.
I believe only about 300 of the plain edge aluminum models were produced.

Tuffram handled Civvy offers extra thick grip as the clip is longer, wider and covered with kraton. I like it in hand but I like regular Civvy more in pocket. I bought my pe tuffram civvy for 230$. It had been show piece in a cutlery shop. I was willing to buy any PE Civvy and bought it althought there were (still are) wear marks on the blade. I got 50$ discount because of those scratches. Handle showed no marks. I have been considering about sending it to Golden for reconditioning.
