I've never seen this folder before. I must say its a high quality folder for sure. Too big for pocket carry and too inconvenient in a sheath though. Even if it is a nice sheath its apparently for back pocket carry I guess but I don't understand carrying a knife this large that way. I guess some do it but a 5" long folder in the pocket is a bit much for me. Plus it weighs just over 5 ounces so that adds to the bulk. It is nice and thin though. Its a brass lined knife. That probably adds to the weight I imagine but it really is a looker and smooth as butter too!

Anyway, now its got a clip and it works well, mounted as requested. Hope you like it Bob7. I forgot I had a day this week where I was making up some clips and made two for some Buck 501 folders but then remade them thinking I'd just stick those first two aside and reuse them on something later. Sure enough my no such thing as waste policy pays off again. This one is done.

For some reason the site won't let me upload pics today. Not sure whats going on there. Oh well, more than one way to do it so I'll just a third party server for now I guess.

Steve,
That's exactly what I was looking for- you nailed it. Thank you very much. It really is a nice knife that, going by searched threads here, has slipped under most peoples' radar. I like the early 80's Eagles and Falcons w/ the flat grind and higher swedge, but they're just too much money now due to collecting/ collectors.

Thanks,
Chris

Good stuff, nice modification. Personally, never thought they were too big for back pocket carry, which is what I did.

Have four of these from back in the day, two with ivory micarta, and two with the brown "camo" micarta that they did....wouldn't dream of carrying those, but I have one of the newer ones in cocobolo that I would carry.

Thanks for posting this up, Steve.

Best Regards,
