Alabama Auto-Knife Question

Hello,

I checked the resources in the sticky at the top and could not answer these two questions:

1. From what I understand clipping an auto-knife onto your pocket is not considered concealing it. Is this correct?


2. And if I were to conceal my auto-knife would that act fall under my AL pistol permit for carrying a concealed handgun?

any help appreciated.

There's nothing in AL's laws that say you can't conceal an auto/switchblade. Just no bowie knives.
