Here's my most recent one... "Alberta White-tail caper".

-O-1 tool steel triple edge quenched and double tempered. Treated with flitz to protect against corrosion. Hand rubbed satin finish.
-OAL 7-7/8" BL 3-3/8"
-stabilized/dyed box elder burl full tang handle with six 3/32" SS pins and 416 SS bolster.

I still have to make the sheath and then it may end up in the for sale area. I kinda like it though so I might just keep it. At first I thought the handle was to thin top to bottom, but once I held it in my hand I found it would be great for precise work such as caping (in my opinion anyway).

Thanks for checking it out.

Nice one man!! Looks like it would be very comfy in the hand.

Is that etching you use for your name?

Hi guys thanks for the compliments.

It is in fact etching. You can catch your nail on the letters. I like it better because when "marking" sometimes during cleanup some letters will be darker than others depending how much crapo comes off when you apply the cleaner. Etching actually goes right down into the steel and gives a more uniform mark in my opinion.

I will try to get some better pics. I need a better camera. In order to get my pics to fit I have to use the lowest resolution on my camera. I do have access to another though.
