It was close and I almost made it but I ran out of kitchen knife stock yesterday in spite of a last minute heat treating run.
Well not completely out but several of the most popular models anyway. This internet thing is surprising me everyday.

I am beginning to think that the key to internet sales success is to have inventory on the shelf ready to ship immediately or in a day or two at most.

Seasons greatings to everyone and thanks for your support in the past year it has been greatly appreciated.

Memo to: Myself
Start building inventory for Christmas January 2nd.

Heheheh...that's what you get for making such great tools, George

. I'm glad to hear that your sales are going so well but I'm not really surprised, considering the quality and value of your knives. I'm thinking about reprising my Christmas gift strategy of last year and getting additional Tichbourne knives for my siblings next Christmas (2001)...they've all been delighted with the K6 knives they received last year. I'll try to pick their brains when we get together this year so I can decide what type of cutlery they need. Don't worry, George...I'll make sure to get my order in several months before your Holiday rush

I hope you and Carol have a great Christmas and New Year...be sure to set aside enough time to enjoy the season

I'm not surprised to hear this, considering what quality pieces they are and how enjoyable it is to use a custom knife in the kitchen. It's Christmas party season, Sandy's carving set is really getting a workout, and she just loves them. Best wishes for a happy holiday season to you and Carol.

Thanks guys. One more day putting handles on the knives that I got back from heat treat yesterday and that is it for Christmas.

I am hoping to get a little rest over the next week because I still have not recovered from the 10 day Craft show I did at the end of November. You wouldn't think that just standing around talking to people would be that tiring.
