Ammo/Mag pouches as folder pouches??

I've seen a mag pouch on ebay that suit my requirements for a folder/cell phone pouch. However, gun control is impossible here so I've got no idea what the measurements are for "U.S. MILITARY 45 AMMO POUCH....HOLDS 2 45 AUTO MAGS".

Would it be able to hold my large Buck/Strider folder? My cell phone measures about4.5"x1.75"x0.85".

What the heck...here's the link.

If you guys know where I can get similar pouch on-line, please point me the way.

Thanks
Sean

You can go to any major firearm holster manufacturer and look for a similar item. Bianchi, Galco and Safariland are three big names.

I know I can get them at quite a few places.

But what's the measurement of a magazine? I've never handle one in real life before. Due to gun control here, my knowledge of gun is somewhere at zero....

Is it the same size as my buck/strider?

Thanks
Sean

Edit for spelling....

sheares has blackhawk pouches
both ammo and some for motorola cell phones and pagers etc
you might want to try it there
or not
sng arms should have them too
but the price will be higher

A standard 7 round government issue .45 magazine is 5 3/4" long x 1 3/8" wide x 1/2" thick.

I use tactical gear including knife pouch from the Tactical Tailor. Hi sknife pouch is $10 and made by hand in the U.S.A. Some of the best quality gear on the market. Check out his site www.tacticaltailor.com. The pouch fits my Spyderco Endura, Cold Steel Voyager and other similar size knives quite well.

Hehe...

If you are trying to hide the knife... probably not. Kinda like the FBI page that just came out here recently... the bullet knife!

But, if it works... go for it!
