I started a thread recently about using an angle grinder and safety seems to be the biggest issue. I found this angle grinder attachment on Harbor Freight, it makes the grinder work like a skill saw. I have never used it, has anyone else tried? Does it make it safer? It looks like it would be pretty easy to make though. Here it is

I looked at them once. With Harbor Freight you almost always get what you pay for or less. If you are real concerned about safety and you should be, get a second hand skil saw and get a metal cutting blade for it. Use your angle grinder to clean up the profile and rough grind the blade.
