I went on a stainless steel handled knife buying craze today. This is certainly not as impressive I have seen some of you all buy, but three knives at once startles my family at least.

SS Kiwi
Byrd Cara Cara
Byrd Finch

This purchase is also much more money efficient - buying a Dodo, a Calypso Jr. ZDP, an Atlantic Salt, and a Centofante III all at once sort of dwarfs this purchase (only around 90 bucks).

Anyone else make any major purchases to share?

I've got a Black Cara Cara, Endura 4 FRN PE, and a yellow Tasman Salt PE coming tomorrow from New Graham. I'm looking forward to trying out the new endura with all screw construction. All of these will be users, so we'll see how they perform.

I just bought an Ocelot.

The FRN Endura 4 is great. I bought a SS Endura 4 as well and decided to sell it because I like the FRN so much better. I'm seriously considering a Tasman Salt, as I've never owned a hawkbill as well.

That's a lot of stainless steel at one time;)

But you're right, that chunk of blades is infinitely cheaper than the other chunk you mentioned.

By major I assume you mean bulk purchases? I've done m fair share of those;) Lost count of how many it was last month.:o

Brown truck delivered my knives today... I love the new frn endura. Very solid feel, better ergonomics (compared to my frn integral clip aus8 endura I had before). Tasman salt is really cool. This knife is extremely light. I was surprised by the lack of weight. Mine came with 102V on the blade, so I assume that's a collector number nobody has. The black bird cara cara is very nice. I bought this because I have been carrying the black meadowlark for several weeks now, and I really like it. This knife is heavy, a serious chunk of steel compared to the endura and the tasman. I really like the finger choil on this knife. Three great knives for the price.
