I received this knife from Jerry last November but only now decided to try my luck with posting pictures. This was my first experience with ordering a custom knife and was impressed with Jerry's patience with my novice questions. I wanted a double edge 7" blade. Jerry recomended his Bodyguard model.

He suggested that I might like his fighter handle. I had wanted stag on the handle but with the shortage, Jerry suggested a stabilized wood. When the knife arrived I was amazed at the wood.

I now have another knife on order with Jerry. If you're new to custom knives you'll find Jerry great to work with.

Wow!! I haven't seen one of the Bodyguards up close and personal like this before- outstanding. I love the blade profile, and the maple burl handle is stunning. Talk about your Dark Beauty.

Good lord! Jerry sent me a picture of a Bodyguard in the just profiled state, but it was just a diamond in the rough. That thing is awesome!

Outstanding! I'm eagerly awaiting my first Hossom blade (a Millennium Bowie, it should be here next week

), and I can hardly wait for the opportunity to handle one of Jerry's blades. Based on all the feedback I've heard in the forums, I'm sure that I'll be very pleased…probably so much so that I'll order another one of Jerry's knives soon. I was thinking of something a little smaller (and more suitable for frequent carry) than the Bowie…this pattern may be just the ticket! It's a truly beautiful piece.

Not too shabby! Handle is beautiful but the bladework is what makes the knife - outstanding lines - fantastic work - that is one "BODYGUARD" I would love to have!
