Steve,

Package is on the way.

BTW, have you played with the Blur as a non-AO knife? Thinking about giving one as a gift and I'm concerned about legal issues.

I believe that Steve said.. Dont quote me on this.. but with the framelock conversion.. the new ball detent will hold the blade closed just fine... So you would be able to remove the AO and have the knife function perfectly..

Yep. Trimcut is correct. I carried my Blur most of the time with the spring taken out of the folder. I didn't put it back in until I sold the knife later and it was then that I reinstalled it. The detent is activated on the Blur so you can remove the spring if you like unlike other assisted openers that rely on the torsion spring to keep the blade closed as well as to snap it open. I've owned three of these. All three had very good holding detent balls that kept the blade closed securely. Kershaw tends to them pretty well when they do activate them. My JYD knives have been spot on for this also as well as others I've owned from them which at this point is quite a few. They are one of my favorite companies always in my top three easily.

Yeah I posted it in the other thread I started on it. It officially got underway today unless I misunderstand you. I don't recall until I get back to the shop who's Blur it is that I have but I only have one here for the conversion and I got that one going today.
