Almost. So very very close.

Baliforumites: The 44S, 45 and 48. Anyone has a 44 they would like to get rid off? ;)
 
BTW, forgot to thank a certain pastry chef for helping me complete this little collection.
 
Very nice Tony, you've done well! Looks similar to a set i've got, only i wish my 45 was in a bit better condition. The search goes on!!!

And Soul..., yes...BM made both partially serrated and non-serrated Model 44's, so the knife did come that way.

Cool, I was the original owner. The sharpening scuffs were from an attempt to remove a tiny 'tooth' at the tip, a bit of extra metal at the very end. I really never cut with it, or flipped it much at all. Can't say that about the Bear beater I bought right after I sent off the 45. Looking forward to buying a quality flipper now, maybe a Tachyon. Glad you liked the 45 :)

Well sir, it's found a good home with lots of brothers and sisters to play with. When I get a chance I'll buff out those sharpening marks. I'm glad you decided to part with it. Go with the Tachyon, can't lose.
 
Love that 48 Tony..:) it's funny to me., but mine look different than that one (just a little)....and only the end-angle of the grind.., but a nice set to be sure :)

Tony, want to get rid of the 48? Been kicking myself since I sold my last one. Didn't find out BM stopped making them until this year. A pox on them for that.

Sorry Navajo. Took me a while to find this one, so I'm going to enjoy it for some time. Especially if my favorite pastry chef makes me some Napoleons. I'll keep you in mind if I run across another one.
 
Thanks for keeping me in mind. I REALLY want another 48. IMHO it was the best compromise between tool and weapon. BM, are you listening???
