A new line of Zytel handled, hole-opening, AUS-8 steel, lockbacks...from....

Emerson!

I ran across the "Endevour" on eBay, and thought it was a typo or a fraud, but you can find them right on EKI's site under "Hard Wear" knives. 3 new models, all under $100. The handles are reminiscent of the Raven, with a cutout that makes a nice finger guard.

Anyone handle or own one of these yet?

You can find them at this link: HardWear. They have three models so far, ENDEAVOR, a large clip point, RELIANT, a large tanto, and TRAVELER, a small clip point. They are manufactured in Japan by G. SAKAI Co. I would describe the handle as Commander-like, with the Raven surface pattern.

All that for under $100? I understand that Emerson has many followers, and I'll not be one to badmouth (I used to own and LOVE a BM CQC7 design).

For a C-note, I would opt for 2 Spyderco Enduras with VG-10 steel blades (but hey, the Endura's NOT a new design).

Actually, MSRP is in the $70-$80 range. Internet retail and eBay prices look to be in the $50 range, comparable to Cold Steel and Spyderco.

Looks like a CS Voyager crossed with a Spyderco. Likely from the same factory. Good knives -- I've packed Voyagers for years, no complaints.
