Very nice blade & bolster, don't really like the handle.

I LOVE it, especially6 the bolsters, but except for the raised back-lock, which looks cool and in the Japanese motif but would be mighty uncomfortable in use.
 
Hey... I also had a chance to play with this one too. It is a nice folder, larger than it looks. The japanese tanto theme took it to another level, a little bit further from what we know as americanized tanto.

The ebony scales where hand carved to look like the japanese cord warp of the katana and the inside texture made to make it look like stingray skin, the traditional handle warp material they use in japan.

looks cool and in the Japanese motif but would be mighty uncomfortable in use.

In my hands it did not feel uncomfortable because it is located on the part of the handle that accommodates in that "void" under your hand palm. It´s difficult to explain (specially if you are Brazilian, not a native speaker) but it felt ok.
