The following are pictures of a Satin 50/50 Commander a buddy had "Gussied up".

The scales are "Antique Gold" linen Micarta and the blade has some pretty nice looking file work on the spine and a cross on the back of the wave. The liner edges were also polished.

Man, that is nice. I especially like the celtic cross right behind the thumb stud. Tell your friend he did a great job.

The top two were on my HP flatbed scanner and the bottom was with my Panasonic PVSD4090 Digicam.

Glad ya'll liked the pictures.

I haven't heard back from the guy that did the work on the Commander, but I'm going to "out" him here.

(If you have him do some work, tell him I sent ya')

Tom is a Hell of a nice guy and he specializes in more gentlemanly stuff like case folders, ect.

I am waiting on one of my Commanders to come back from having the filework done and Micarta scales installed.

There will of course be pictures up when I get it.

Real nice! The black screws contrast nicely with the micarta scales. Thanks for sharing the pics, John.

Ancient SUL; actually, I believe the cross on the knife to be a Maltese cross, and not the Cross of St. Bridget. The latter has a circle superimposed over the cross, with the arms of the cross extending through the circle; the arms are of unequal length, with the vertical arms being longer.

You should get your friend to apply for the job as the head of Emerson's up and long awaited for up and coming "Custom-Production" line

Here are a few shots of Tom's table at the Blade Show.
