This is a beautiful knife and I would love to own it. Being a antique knife lover, the only problem I have is that the screw heads show. I see this on many of the custom knives. Why is that? I know nothing about making knives I just love to collect them. It seems to distract from the beauty. If the bolsters blended as manufacturers do I would like it better. Please don't think that I am picking on you. I love this knive but I have always wondered about the screws on any of the customs that have them. Gorgeous piece.

Pa knives,
The Screws show because this is how the knife is constructed. Screws hold the bolsters and handle material to the titanium liners which are screwed to the backbar. The advantage of this is that you can take the whole knife apart for cleaning or repair if it ever needed it. You cna also adjust the tightness of te pivot.
Most of the knives that you are mentioning are pinned together and once it's put together that's it! You cannot make any adjustments, or take it apart for cleaning. If the blade becomes loose from opening oand closing after a while that's how it stays. If I polished the screw heads they would blend in more with the bolster and handle material. I have attached an image of a knife with nickel silver bolsters and polished screw heads. If you interested in the knife I will polish the screw heads fot you if you wish.
Thanks,
Chuck

I understand the concept, but I don't think that I would ever want to take such a beautiful knife apart. I wouldn't think that I would have to. It surely functional but as an admirer of fine cutlery I would use it. It would be displayed with my other knives. Therefore I my self would perfer that the screws did not show. Just my opinion. Let me say agian though. I think that this knife is very nice and anyone would be proud to own it.
