Any chance of a Maxi-Manix?

Is there any chance of a Maxi-Manix with a 4.5" or larger blade? Or is the possibility of such a knife remote? I know some will say carry a fixed blade, but I still like large folders :)

I'd need a better belt to carry a knife that big. My pants would fall down from the weight of it;)
 
Yes Duke, a mega folder (the bison) has been designed by the Spyderco crew. If and when it will go into production is uncertain at this point.
 
I think someone who saw a Bison prototype posted it didn't look anything like a Manix though.
 
I really want a big 4"+ folder but there is nothing currently on the market that satifies me so I am all for supporting anyone that is designing new ones. :D Sooner or later someone will build my knife...

G10...cough...Ambi...cough...flat grind...cough...oh...excuse me... I seem to have a bit of a cough. :)
 
I was just thinking about this the other day. I mega folder from spydero. I'd buy a Manix that big. Or a chinook but that but be too sheeple scary. Then again, a big folder is a big folder.
 
I would love a Manix that size...I already love my regular Manix and am a fan of big folders so I say bring it on!
