This is my very first post on Bladeforums. I'm seriously considering buying a Small Classic Sebby, but I've never held one. Are there any Dallas, TX dealers out there who will let me fondle their stuff :-) ?
 
This is EXACTLY the situation I was in when I inqiuired about my first Sebenza. I HAD to handle one before I bought one. So I emailed Bridget creeve@micron.net (I THINK) who is the customer relations person at Chris Reeve Knives. SHE IS AWESOME! Anyway, she pointed me to the person I would end up making the purchase from. Oh yea, I'm in Austin TX. There were a few factors in my purchase. I was not willing to wait a month or even a week to get my hands on that beauty, AND I wanted to check out the different sizes and models. If your willing to drive to Austin, I can point you in the direction of a really nice guy who does not question the knife knut, and will "put one in your hand." If you bring the cash, YOU WILL BUY ONE! I just went there to hold one, and the small standard just HAD to go home with me! <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0">

I just talked to my dealer here in Austin, Mr. Allen Yoast. He has a few large sebenzas, and is expecting some smalls in in about a week. If you wanna contact him, he can be reached at 512-247-2049. He said it can be pretty difficult to get him on the phone, though. He suggested that I give you his email address, which is A4t5fan@aol.com He does not go to Dallas, and I'm not sure if he allows folks to visit him other than when he's at a show. All I *really* know about him is that he's SUPER nice and carries most (maybe all) of the Chris Reeve product line. He even said he would hold a Mnandi for me {:^D whenever they come in!
