there was a 5 minute period when I was playing with some code on the site...you must have hit it. There is a link on their main page (not the intro page) that goes directly to the knife kit or you can go through the online catalog. It is all good now.

Hey Brian,
I'm thinking of using some of that Cocobolo or the Bocote that I showed you last week for the handles on mine. I have to bring the planks up to my buddy's and have him saw them up into usable sizes. He has done a lot of exotic wood inlay work and knows to take precautions. You are welcome to use some of that wood if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer on the wood, but I got some Bird's eye maple when I ordered the kit. When are you going to your freinds? I'll be heading to my parents for the week end if you would like anything cut let me know. The handles here are the green and black g10
The upgrade kit that is available has black or green and black and comes with a backspine.
The backspine makes the knife stiffer.
The handles come oversize along with the backspine and have to be finished.
All the holes are drilled and ctr bored for the screws.
I think.... maybe that Koval is going to offer other materials, like ivory mic, jigged bone ect I dont know.
If not the upgrade kit makes a real in set of patterns for the handles and backspine.
Plans are in the works for another blade style. Any thoughts on blade shape?
The instructions sheet should be up on the site within a few more days.

I don't have the kit yet so I can't really say what blade style would look good on it. You ask about differarent blade shapes, are they going to offered separitly or as differant kits? What kind or blade does the kit come with now? Looks like a clip but I can't tell from the picture. For other blade configs a flat ground, spear or tanto.
