Any future for the 0780? Or something similar?

Hello,
Being that the 0780 is disco'd now, does anyone know if it will be brought back at a later date or if anything similar in style, will be out? I like the classic straight lines a little more, than the re-curve style ( I like both).

I agree. Long and skinny folders seem like the perfect market for ZT to expand into.

Three of them have futures with me. I love each one equally...my babies...

Three now, huh? ;) I love the two that I have, and would buy more, but there are just so many other ZT's and Kershaw's that I want to aquire. I start my new job after the holiday, so maybe when funds build back up, if the prices for ZT 0780's aren't sky-high, I will get another one or two. In the mean-time, I'm glad that I went ahead and got two for now.

I agree. These things are pretty much gone as far as the primary market, and I'm glad I snagged the three I did for a relatively decent price. One of my friends wanted to buy one, which is really why I got the third in the first place, but now he's iffy on it. After all that, I'm glad I'll likely be keeping the three of them, especially since my first one is now on its way to Kershaw to fix the issues. Until it gets back, I can still use another. :D

I do like the coated blade though, it really completes the package of this particular design.

How do you find a clip on Your 780. Mine is so tight that I need to use both hands to clip it to the pocket. The worth when I need to take it from the pocket it alsmost draws my pants from me :(

Change the blade steel to 14c28n or 154cm, lower the price by 60 or 30 dollars respectively and call it the Kershaw Skyline XL.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a version of it in the Kershaw line in the future.

They can always bring back a discontinued model a few years later too.

I'd love to see a Kershaw version of it. Satin or stonewash blade of 14C28N steel and make the pommel of it smooth instead of the multiple cuts.
