You really should consider yourself very lucky to be in new york.
I have been living in south Texas for almost 20 tears (years)now.Now while i love Tx i miss NY. New York is a beautiful state,
there is always something new to do in NY
and the FOOD IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD, now before all the BUBBA'S come crashing in on my door, hear me out, TX has one of the BEST lifestyles i've seen,people down here seem to live longer and more productive lives than NY'ERS the cost of living here is CHEAP,
and peolpe are great and of course here in Houston we have NO WINTER,or fall,and very little spring.
Joe, you mention food how much chicken fried steak, BBQ, and Tex-Mex can one eat thats all thats here,sure we have our fine dining here but who can afford to eat out every nite at $40.00 a head, In NY you can eat a GREAT MEAL at a differant restaurant every nite and send less then 10.00 bucks a head.
I agree on your comment about the women, here in TX we win hands down over NY when it come to pretty faces,(i just wish they didnt all drink beer from a bottle,chew redman and spit)only kiddin bubba's.
In closeing JOE enjoy your time in NY it's a GREAT place to hang your hat awhile. just don't bring any of their bad habits back down with you when you come home, REMEMBER WE DON'T CARE HOW YOU DID IT UP NORTH
