In a return of my Tin Knives? I was going to make them out of 3/32" x 1" x 3 3/4" long stock this time, in a basic drop point or clip point style, with forged finish for $40 with no sheath or $45 with kydex sheath. If there is interest I will do it, if not, I won`t. I can also do "reasonable" custom designs.

I think the LDK is a better knife than the tin knives. Mine goes everywhere with me! How much more are they? Does anyone remember them?

I definately could be interested. I need something small with a sharp point to go with my JK Anniversary Knife.

I'd be interested to know the difference between the LDK and teh tin knife though.

Thanks,

Brandon

Pics? Anyone have a shot?

I'll try and dig up a better pic.

I think this was a modified version of the LDK.

Guys, get a LDK. You will love how tough of a backup to your backup it is. Thick little knife with a pocket sheath that fits in a pocket or bag without noticable weight. I put a band around mine and have a BIC mini, piece of fatood and small ferro rod included. Try to get a pic soon.

They are tough little guys. I make them out of 1/8" thick stock.

I'd be interested too. Seems stout. I wonder if it could be used to break auto glass. I'd stick it in the car. I'd be willing to sacrifice the tip in an emergency.

You can also have some fun designing your own, as long as you stay within these dimensions.

Overall length 4 3/4", with a 2" cutting edge, out of either 3/32" or 1/8" x 1" tall stock. Cost in forged finish, will be $50 or $55 with kydex pocket sheath. For satin finish add $5. You would need to send me a drawing of your design.

I like the modified LDK, and if I ever come into a large sum of money you'll be a busy knife maker. Every time I check in your forum here I see another knife I'd like to have. Can't wait to see jds1's nessmuk style knife come to life.

I have a setup very similar to Pitdog's. In fact, his is the reason why I have a LDK.
