Latest ETA, good places to pre-order from, design changes, any info would be appreciated.

I never thought I could part with my Sebenza. After carrying my AR for a while, I'm starting to consider selling it to help finance a SnG. After all, a SnG would be perfect for those times when an AR is a bit much. I know, my Sebenza is more PC than a SnG, but it's not a STRIDER! That's my reason/excuse for today, anyway...

"We’re working on them as we speak…"

My imagination just took off again. I picture Mick, Duane and others lined up in front of grinders, etc. They're in full Borg regalia, implants all over. Monique is answering the phone, looking like 7 of 9 before she got de-Borged.

On that note, I need to get back to work...

huh? new model? is thier a pic, or even a drawing? it is supposed to be smaller than the AR/GB? sort of a hvy metal gent's knife? :D

do tell more.....!

Mick: Are the leftys going to be released at the same time as the rightys? Or are you gonna concentrate on getting the rightys out there before you make the leftys?:)

cool. I have to put that on the list.

but why the hole in the blade? No thumb post?

whatsupwiddat?

btw, I hate spyderco's

The lefties will come very shortly after the rest.
We have to re-tool to make them.

Boy, every time I look at it, I see an ambi thumbstud AND a hole. I guess that hole really pulls peoples eyes to it.

Mick

Well, you can't please everybody all the time.

The PRIMARY reason I am interested in the SnG is BECAUSE it has the hole.

Except for Mayo TNT's, there ain't too many framelock folders running around with opening holes, still the most reliable approach out there IMO.

I for one am fully behind this design. I hope you are able to bring some non pre-ordered SnG's to the BAKCA show.

edited for brain fart

Do we know yet what they will initially price out at?

and sorry Mr Strider, I had not seen the thumb studs. I certainly do now!

OK, just makin' sure you didn't post something "here" that you didn't post "over there".

Time to buy some more drill bits. :p

What's with all the little dimples in the handle? A new grip texture your experimenting with?

When they are available I am in for one! This would make an excellent Strider for my wife! or for me as a second little AR sorta.

Heck, I will pay full retail plus for the honor of having one and supporting a great guy and great knife.

Mick,

I notice in the two photos above that in one the dimples are on the metal side with the clip, and in the other the dimples are on the other side (non-clip). Is this the difference between the righty and lefty, or were you just experimenting with different placement? Which will it be for the final version.

Thanks,

Sierra1
